Before it was titled "Episode IV: A New Hope", it was simply known as Star Wars. A group of Star Wars purists, calling themselves "Team Negative 1" have restored the original 35mm cut of the very first Star Wars film, which originally hit theaters in 1977. This is the version George Lucas would rather forget, but a lot of the hardcore fans saw this one first, and instantly became forever in love with the saga.

Feel free to read the original story here.
